Vanderbilt football has come under fire on Twitter for a poorly worded slogan that was being used as a rallying cry for the 2015 season. Jeff Ermann of InsideMDSports.com provided the evidence of the Commodores' Twitter post:

Upon seeing the response to the slogan, the team did tweet out an official apology for appearing to make light of a very serious situation, even if that wasn't the intent:
VandyFootball @VandyFootball (https://twitter.com/VandyFootball)We apologize for today’s tweet. It’s not a comment about sexual assault. Sex without permission is always wrong and not accepted. (1/2)
