Assistant Coach (RB) Jeremy Moses (Stephen F. Austin State 2011)

One of the most decorated players in Stephen F. Austin history, (Passed for 13,401 yards and 121 Touchdowns his time at SFA. His 1,184 completions is a FCS record.) Jeremy Moses is entering his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Lumberjacks, working with SFA's running backs.

The first player in school or Southland Conference history to win the Walter Payton Award, Moses has been a key member of the Lumberjack staff for the past two seasons, helping to mentor quarterback Brady Attaway, his former backup. Attaway closed out his SFA career by sitting second all-time in the Lumberjack record books in nearly every passing category, trailing only his mentor Moses.

Named to numerous All-America teams during his collegiate career, Moses rewrote the school and conference record books on his way to being named the NCAA FCS National Player of the Year. A two-time SLC Player of the Year selection, Moses left SFA as the NCAA's all-time leader in completions at the FCS level. He also became the first player in Southland history to receive the Walter Payton Award, an award given to the national player of the year.

Moses' biggest career highlight did not come in the form individual honors, but team gains. Moses was a key factor in helping SFA transform itself from an 0-11 program in 2007, to a top-10 team that won the conference title two years later. The following season the Lumberjacks rattled off another top-10 campaign and their second-straight conference title. It was the first time in school history SFA recorded back-to-back conference titles.

Following his playing career, Moses spent one season at North Alabama as an assistant on Terry Bowden's coaching staff. The 2011 SFA graduate is married to the former Jessica Miller.

35.*How do you replace 61 games of experience? Somehow NDSU has to do that as number 35 will no longer be in the defensive backfield for the Bison, Christian Dudzik. He was the failsafe, the man who never missed a game in his four year career, in fact he started every game during his career. Dudzik became a constant in the secondary and became a playmaker, finishing his career with 13 interceptions, which is third highest in NDSU school history. The Bison will not find that kind of experience this year, but it goes to show how rare a player Dudzik was, a four year starter, who never missed a game and contributed right from the get go. From his interception against Lehigh in the 2011 playoffs, to his big punt return against Kansas State, to his game sealing interception against Montana in 2014, Dudzik was always there. That's a huge hole that the Bison have to replace in the secondary and maybe even more importantly, a leadership spot as well.

28 days until the North Dakota State University Bison go to Missoula and defeats the University of Montana.

Go Bison!

Dewey
