Delaware St Athletics Web Site

The Kats play the Hornets tonight in the South Padre Invitational Championship Game. Trying to find out if there was a broadcast or anything special, I clicked over to http://www.gohornets.net/ and was surprised by what I saw.

I've thought other schools had awful web sites, but this web site was worse than a number of fan sites I've seen! Wierdly enough, the Delaware St site even links to MEAC fans!

Clicked to the main page to see if that was any better and while it is, it's still pretty sloppy, http://www.desu.edu/. Any word from the DelSt fans on when we can see a change or why is the page as it is?

I think PVA&M has a 'cleaner' and 'more polished' look than that of Delaware St. A very bland look, but everything is easier to find. Definitely could use some updating in several areas, but I still give Delaware St the nod for now...

Missouri St had a decent page and should've been able to keep it up on the 'Net while transferring over. Still clueless why this happened...

Welcome to the Missouri State University...we still dont know why either other then thats what they wanted...they wanted to stay with the old company as long as possible which meant going down with them when they went out...and now, we are left without a website to at least late Dec i have heard...

I can guarantee you xlolx, you will not find a SINGLE panther going to your site. Ever in this life. xlolx Because you all don't mean that much to us. You cannot guarantee if you'll live to see tomorrow or not, but I'll guarantee that you won't find a panther perusing your site(s) because we don't care about ya' like that. Take it as you see fit and the truth always hurts so find some healing to deal w/ it.

Hasn't Texas State played Prairie View A&M in a few sports in recent years? If the PVA&M athletic department folks and alums aren't checking out their opposing squad's web site, they obviously don't care two cents about their program(s). I know I've checked your site before for roster/schedule information prior to games in baseball and softball, where we knocked the Panthers all the way back to PV.

I know that many of the fans from boards I've visited (this one included) are always checking out web sites of the schools they oppose. I guess with the poor quality of web sites (such as the PVA&M one) or the lack of updates in the SWAC, perhaps you don't peruse other sites in your conference?

If your not representative of all fans, I guess you haven't caught up with the technological age... ;)

Now, as a fan, I can assure you. I have ZERO desire (along w/ MOST of our other alums unless they have a relative or related individual who attends) to ever (literally) go to a TXST or SHSU website. Why? For what? I don't care for you like that. I don't want to know anything about you. Heck, I was on Alcorn St's web site a day ago to see what their team's makeup is, more insight about their schedule and if I could get some free audio for when SHSU plays in Lorman over the weekend. PVA&M fans must not care enough about their opposing schools whether it Langston (NAIA) or Texas State, to learn about their chances against their foe, possible audio available (especially if their own school does not have it for said game) or what not.

Why are you on this board then? You'd be better off sticking to SWAC Page because this board is about more than just the SWAC, but all of FCS football. You must really want to learn about your foes and are just talking bologna, which is nothing new. Hypocrisy at it's best!

Womens' basketball is definitely not a sport that our conference excels in especially in the years after the demise of the great program that SFA once had. Must be nice to beat Nicholls St, eh? They were picked before last in the SLC East, the weaker of the two divisions, just above UCA, a team transitioning. Just like you to stick out your chest about beating weak foes, but atleast Nicholls is a Div I team. PVA&M

Would be nice if PVA&M played SHSU this year. SHSU Women beat TxSo by 16 earlier this year and PVA&M's archrival, Wiley College by 21. PVA&M can't be that special. An awful Kats team last year got a 17 point win over the Pantherettes and an even worse team got a 21 point win in PV over them the year before.

Of course, we haven't even covered the mens' team, who have their lone win, a four-point win at that, against SW Assemblies of G-d, a bottomfeeder from the Red River Conference of the NAIA level! :eek:

Well... since you're perusing our sites and are in the know as to happenings around PVU, you'd know what's going on. Was last fall (2005) supposed to be something special for us? No! Is 2006 supposed to be special? No! We have a squad full of JUCOs and frosh. Surely we're not expected to win. Right? Right! As for you attempting to downplay the win against NSU, you're right on time buddy! :thumbsup: Again, I expected you to do that. I just didn't want to mention it earlier because my reverse psychological jedi-mind trick I put on you would have caused you not to post on it and say something nice instead. xlolx

Me personally, I don't want to "learn" about my opponent. I want us to play them and beat the dog isht out of them. Period. :) I'm not a coach so I could care the hell less about who's 6'7" 300lbs on your squad. The only thing I care about is ensuring that our guys cut that big ass tree down and demoralize him/her in the process.

Why would we want to play against SHSU in anything? We have no history w/ you people or TxSt. We have history w/ the same Wileys/PQs you try to diminish. No kinship w/ you whatsoever outside of being in the same classification. You're not a draw for us. And, save the surfing you're about to do to find #s to TRY and support whatever argument you're attempting to start (jedi mind trick :read: ).

BTW, I'm here to enlighten some of you. You're in the dark (pun intended lol) on quite a bit of happenings/feelings in the surrounding areas. lol xlolx
