Iowa's had a team called the Midgets for years....never heard a peep about it being an issue.

Apparently the name stemmed from the very early years of football there and they played a team that made them "look like midgets". I don't know if that's actually true though

Dickinson, ND high school has been the midgets with almost nothing to say by the NDHSAA ever.

That said they had to get rid of Redskins, Satans, and Wops since I was in high school so their plate has been pretty full.

I know that Devil's Lake was the Satans. Grand Fork Central was the Chiefs. Not sure which team(s) was/were the Redskins. But who were the Wops???
