Two Big Sky Conference football players will begin the 2015 season eying the league's sixth STATS FCS Defensive Player of the Year Award in the past nine years. Southern Utah senior defensive end James Cowser and Sacramento State senior linebacker Darnell Sankey were each named to award watch list released on Wednesday.
