BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) announced the 2015 predicted order of finish and Preseason All-Conference teams for the upcoming football season at the 2015 Football Media Day. The Grambling State University Tigers were picked to finish first in the Western Division with 93 points with eight first-place votes in their return to football. Four Grambling State University student-athletes were named to the preseason All-SWAC teams this year. Last season, the Tigers offense scored 50 touch*downs, averaging 32.2 points a game and ranked fourth in the SWAC under the leadership of senior quaterback Johnathan Williams. Senior Senior defensive lineman Jevonta Williams in the 2014 season had 12 unassisted tackles and 11 assisted tackles. Williams recorded three unassisted sacks and one assisted sack. Henry recorded 5.5-28 tackles for loss, and one quarterback hurry.
