Interestingly enough, they signed up for an account and anyone new doesn't get to post unmoderated so I was in approving this one as you were apparently posting this up.
I'm going to combine them Dog.

This will NOT play well at all in Cullowhee!
Also - glad to see Jacksonville U on here (whether they should be or not is another matter). One of the most entertaining football games I've ever attended was when the Mercer Bears came back from double-digits down to squeak by the Dolphins 45-42 in 2013. Kade Bell is really FUN to watch as a QB...and it's also fun to watch the interaction between his Head Coach (Kerwin Bell) and him on the sidelines during the game.

South Dakota State go FBS?
Go Lehigh TU Owl

I like the Top 13. UNH could be higher but otherwise it looks pretty good.
A Pioneer team in over a PL squad is tough to swallow but probably warranted at this point....

I think we need to have a Jacksonville vs Jacksonville State game to determine who is the real Jacksonville, ala Miami vs Miami (Florida and Ohio), OSU vs OSU (Ohio State, Oklahoma State, and Oregon State), and USC vs USC (Southern California and South Carolina).

Actually we played in 2013, Jax State beat JU 48-13. That was the game we broke the NCAA record with 4 different 100-yard rushers.

Fordham belongs in the top 25, not Jacksonville U.
OTHER CHANGES:
Putting Eastern Ill. in 14th is a huge leap of faith I wouldn't even have them in the top 25.
Chattanooga and Jack State need to swap places.
I don't think UNH is top 10 until we see what they can do offensively in 2015; however, I'd put them several spots higher.
Other changes I'd make could be argued either way.

I didn't even see the PFL team. I stopped at 5 and knew I had no interest in it
A real quick glance shows me EIU, JSU, ISUb, Jacksonville and lack of SDSU and SELA as major how do you overlook that issues if you've done any research on this

I honestly think in the early part of the year people do things like this as sort of a way of trying to show all conferences some interest but it doesn't really make too much sense to me either cuz I'd bet the farm on SDSU, or many others over the PFL team. I'm glad they made an effort with it but I just can't see that as plausible. Who knows though...they could shock us all.

You got this labeled as a "poll". Just curious, how many people get polled to put this together?
I have no problem with it as far as McNeese goes because we are where we deserve to be starting the season. Not in it.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT TEAMS DO THEY THINK WILL END UP IN THE POLLS AT THE END OF THE SEASON?

Some pretty notable omissions given a Pioneer League team was included: SDSU, Richmond, Fordham, SELA
Also I think Eastern Illinois at 14 is much too high given the season they're coming off.

When I put my submission in for the AGS preseason poll I do it for how I think the season will finish.
I also do it that way every week of the year. I don't auto drop a team just because they lost a game or two early in the year. If I think they are still better I'm going to rank them higher.
I can't post my submission until after the AGS poll opens and closes but I can tell you it's pretty different than this one.

I will list the 40 teams I have in my preseason top 40, in alphabetical order. A couple big changes for me this year is I've never voted for Ivy league teams because they weren't a playoff conference. I am changing that this year and will vote for an Ivy team if I feel they deserve it. I also, however, am no longer considering MEAC teams (still not considering SWAC teams). Though the reality is the MEAC teams have never really been a true top 25 team anyway.

To be honest, while 40 are listed there are only 30-33 of them that got any "serious" thought. There was also a massive drop from 26 on my list to 27. To be even more honest the drop off after about 16 was considerably larger. That's fairly normal though I would think. Read the poll threads during the year and you'll see most people have a consensus top 15-17 and the last 8-10 spots is real tough to slot
