57. A good special teams unit can take a good team to a great team and NDSU has enjoyed that in recent years. Both in kicking and punting the Bison have thrived since this title run began. A spot the Bison need to address in 2015 is kicker. Adam Keller leaves after a tremendous three years, where he made 76, 58 and 57 extra points in 2013, 2014 and 2012. He was nearly automatic in field goals as well over the last two years and now there's a hole there. Chris Klieman was trying out two guys at kicker during the spring, first was incumbent kicker Tom Barneson, the other was punter Ben LeCompte. LeCompte's accuracy was pretty good in the spring, enough for Klieman to say he wouldn't have any reservation about LeCompte kicking. NDSU does have an incoming kicker in Cam Pedersen, who also will get a chance to win the job. If NDSU wants to continue to be a title threat, special teams need to stay as good as they have been.

Good luck with the upcoming season and in the classroom Dom.
50 days until North Dakota State University goes to Missoula Montana and beats the University of Montana.
Go Bison!
