I Thought UNH Was Trying to Improve Its Hoops Program

They are even more pathetic than usual, losing to Franklin Pierce (?!), Central Connecticut, and Robert Morris (?!) and getting humiliated by BC. I mean, I've only heard of Franklin Pierce because I grew up in NH. But I've never even heard of Robert Morris. All I can say is it's a good thing we have the football and hockey teams.

Someday in the not so near distant future, UNH Basketball will finally get on track. Meantime my college hoops rooting goes to Southern New Hampshire University (ugh i still hate that name, I miss the old New Hampshire College name)

As for Robert Morris and Central Connecticut, if you visit AGS muich how can you not have heard of them, especially Central Connecticut with the great early part of the football season they had.

I have heard of Central Connecticut. I can even remember when we used to play them in football. As for Robert Morris, I don't pay much attention to teams in other conferences, especially since teams from my undergrad (UNH) and grad (Villanova) schools are in the A-10.

I don't like the change from NHC to SNHU either. I have fond memories of the old NHC when I used their library in the summer to study for the bar exam. It was deadly quiet there in June and July.

UNH should scrap their basketball program and put the money and scholarships to better use That program will never come around. Bring back the baseball program. The highlite of UNH basketball history, was the Florida home game when they sold out the Wit. Then it was back to the Gym. :p
