I have not been posting here for very long, but it is becoming painfully obvious that fans and followers of certain institutions are far more homerish than others and I am just trying to see what everyone else thought or if I am alone on this just like I am alone in having a sense of humor.

I voted Other. All school have their good, bad and ugly fans. USD, NDSU and Montana had great seasons and are great schools.

He's probably responsible for most of the UM votes on this poll.

I voted for Montana because I'm a freakin' "homer".
And just to get my post count up, I'll probably post some more pictures in the "Stadium Thread"...Lord knows there aren't enough of Washington/Grizzly in there, or anyplace else for that matter.xlolx ;)

I voted "other" because UNI wasn't listed. They aren't even in the playoffs, but could beat everyone who is, according to the homers.

My vote this week (and it changes frequently, from week to week) is JMU fans.
Not counting you, bandl, BTW. I like what you have to say.

I voted other because Appalachian is not listed as a specific choice. I mean as far as I'm concerned, ASU could beat Ohio St, Mich. and USC all on the field at the same time. Also the all-Notre Dame team, and a team comprised of Angels. So there.

This year it's USD, hands down.
The top homer of all-time is umassfan. He is earnest in his homerism like no other.

:D
Just wanted to say that Rascati has made it back on the Payton List :) (I know he won't win it, but I remember a long thread a while back concerning this topic...)
As far as being portrayed as homers, eh, it all depends on the perception of people calling others 'homers'. There's a very fine line between confidence and homerism, IMO. I prefer to be confident ;)
