Who has openings for September 1 & 8? Georgia Southern will be looking for games against less than stellar opponents. Should your team fit this mold. GSU will probbaly pay you a little cash to offset traveling expenses.

This isn't intended as smack. It is a truthful attempt to schedule someone who the Eagles can defeat at home.  :)

I hear the Alabama School for the Deaf and Blind is looking for someone that weekend. You might be able to get past them.

Well, since you put it that way, Gus, I'm certain their will be a long line waiting!

LSU postponed our 9/1 date until 2010 or later, so you're always welcome to come up to Boone :D

SHSU has openings for both. I am sure we will be looking for some more home games, but who knows. I would love to see a Ga.Southern/SHSU ballgame. Especially with Bomar elgible for next two seasons.. Here is our tentative sked for 2007. UCA coming into SLC has jumbled the conference games a bit..

Sam Houston State 2007 Tentative Sked......

9/1 TBD
9/8 TBD
9/15 TBD
9/22 Missouri State
9/29 @ Oklahoma State
10/6 Central Arkansas

11/10 @ Southeastern Louisiana
11/17 Texas State (not sure if home or away)?

I think Robert Morris could stand to have another out of conference game (currently at 10 games overall) but I think Dayton and Duquesne are scheduled for those first two weekends in September.

Have your people call our people! Maybe some juggling can occur.

Didn't you guys try that routine when we hand delivered CCSU to you in order to fill the date we abandoned so we could play Virginia Tech?

Ask Mainejeff, his alma mater seems to find some pretty good no name schools to play from the NAIA/D-III ranks when they need a home game.

What's your history with Valdosta State? How often have the Eagles and Blazers matched up? They're DII, but aren't they trying to climb up to I-AA/FCS?

yeah, this might not be what you're looking for at all...

Sat, Sep 15 OPEN TBA

Sat, Sep 22 OPEN TBA

Sat, Sep 29 OPEN TBA

Sat, Oct 06 UC Davis Fargo, N.D.

Sat, Oct 13 Mississippi Valley State at Itta Bena, Miss.

Sat, Oct 20 Minnesota at Minneapolis, Minn.

Sat, Oct 27 Southern Utah Fargo, N.D.

Sat, Nov 03 OPEN TBA

Sat, Nov 10 Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo, Calif.

Sat, Nov 17 South Dakota State at Brookings, S.D.

This is our 12 week schedule.

Not sure if we'd schedule 12 games even if it were allowed. I'd think we would if it meant the difference between 5 and 6 home games.

Getting a game Nov 3 is going to be a pain in the ass. Maybe not possible.

We might be able to get a the Big Sky team that doesn't have a league game that week. Let's see..who would that be?

If the 2007 Big Sky conference schedule is just the 2006 conf. schedule with revered home and away, it'd be Montana.

So there's pretty much no chance of that happening.

The Southland has 8 teams. Pioneer has 8 so San Diego is out.

Hmm..no idea how we'd fill that spot.

We have Iowa State for OOC right now. Our AD has mentioned Nicholls State, but I'm not sure if that would start this year. Would guess we might see Drake again.

Contact year AD & get him to call. I would rather play you next year instead of 2008 or 09. Whatever the date is?
