NATCHITOCHES – Track and field senior Kaymin Carter won the first "Heart of a Demon Award" while softball's Donald Pickett was announced as Northwestern State's "Coach of the Year" in voting by the head coaches at NSU as highlights of the Demons' inaugural Athletics Celebration Banquet Tuesday night.
