Just two days after it was reported that West Chester Henderson's Bryan White was offered a football scholarship by Villanova, he has committed to play for the Wildcats. White was a second-team all-Southeastern Pennsylvania pick last season on the defensive line. The Philadelphia Inquirer's Rick O'Brien (http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/264160872.html) broke the news this morning.
White will be the third member of his family to play for the 'Cats. His brother T.J. is a redshirt sophomore linebacker currently, and their father Ted played for Andy Talley as the program was rebooted from 1985-87.
Projected to play nose tackle for the 'Cats, the younger White checks in at 6'2" and 280-pounds. He reports a 40-yard-dash time of 5.18 seconds, a bench press of 295-pounds and a squat of 515-pounds. At Henderson, he also lined up on the offensive line, but will be a defensive specialist in college.
He was unranked on all of the major recruiting services and chose the 'Cats over offers from Navy, Bryant, Bucknell, Colgate, Fordham, Holy Cross and Monmouth.
White is Villanova's second known recruit for the 2015 class, joining running back Jarrett McClenton (http://www.vuhoops.com/2014/6/20/5829172/football-class-of-2015-villanova-lands-archbishop-wood-rb-jarrett) (Archbishop Wood), who committed on June 20th.

One of the loudest venues in Division I, NDSU started playing in the Fargodome in 1993.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fargodome

The NDSU football team has a record of 121 wins and 21 losses in the Fargodome since the start of the 1993 season including the playoffs.

Crowd noise

In 2011, the Fargodome was ranked as the 49th best stadium in college football.[7] (http://www.anygivensaturday.com/#cite_note-7) The article cites, "There aren't many indoor venues in college football, but the few that do exist at the non-FBS level are very unfriendly to any visiting team. That effect is only amplified in a playoff atmosphere." The Fargodome is routinely ranked as one of the loudest college football stadiums in the country. On December 10, 2011 in a game against Lehigh (http://www.anygivensaturday.com/wiki/2011_Lehigh_Mountain_Hawks_football_team), the crowd noise was measured at 111 decibels, comparable to when the New Orleans Saints (http://www.anygivensaturday.com/wiki/New_Orleans_Saints) play in the Superdome. During the 2011 playoffs, the decibel level spiked past 130 decibels several times but was not an official measurement.[8] (http://www.anygivensaturday.com/#cite_note-8)[9] (http://www.anygivensaturday.com/#cite_note-9) On December 14, 2012 in an FCS semifinal game against Georgia Southern (http://www.anygivensaturday.com/wiki/2012_Georgia_Southern_Eagles_football_team), the crowd noise exceeded the 111 decibel mark and was known to be one of the loudest games in NDSU history. The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead conducted an informal study of Fargodome crowd noise from the press box during a playoff semifinal game last December. The readings showed a high of 111 decibels following a late touchdown by quarterback Brock Jensen. The decibel meter consistently read 102-106 throughout that game, according to The Forum.[10] (http://www.anygivensaturday.com/#cite_note-10) During the 2013 Furman playoff game, the crowd noise was measured at 115 decibels.[11] (http://www.anygivensaturday.com/#cite_note-11) The record for the loudest indoor stadium crowd was set in 2013 at the Sacramento Kings stadium Sleep Train Arena (http://www.anygivensaturday.com/wiki/Sleep_Train_Arena) at 126 decibels. Due to the notorious noise, the Fargodome is sometimes referred to as the "Thunderdome".
