View Full Version : Lehigh to Play #1 LSU on Friday in Baton Rouge!

Mountain Hawks will have the thrill of a lifetime playing the Tigers on Friday at LSU at 4 p.m. EDST. LSU's baseball stadium seats 15,000 and should be a wild experience. Lehigh overcame a 3-19 start to go 22-10 and win the Patriot League Championship. Other two teams in the double-elimination round are UNC-Wilmington and Tulane.

Thought LSU might be their destination! Either there or College Station, because the NCAA committee for some reason loves matching up TAMU and Lehigh. But LSU is an awesome experience.

Hopefully Joe S. and Joe A. can hammer out that football game, Lehigh vs. LSU, too. xnodx

One of the things on my bucket list is to see a night game at LSU. I used to listen to their games back in high school- the Gophers always played in the afternoon, the Tigers at night. Tommy Casanova running back punts................

There was a thread years ago about the ten stadiums that you would most like to see a game in. I've been to all of the BIG stadiums except the two new ones for games. You get a certain perception on TV that may or may not change when you are there in person.

We played a Super Regional there in our run in 2012. Great place and terrific fans . We took 2 out 3 from the Tigers. . Stony Brook plays Friday against NC State in the Ft Worth Regional. Good luck to you guys and enjoy LSU is a class act.

Season came to an inglorius end, but a lot to savor considering the horrible start. Taking a 2-0 lead in the fourth inning must have been an awesome high before the roof fell in.
