That's really sad on their part. You'd think they'd double-check their own poll.

Ugh, why is San Diego taking up space in this poll?

I am pretty sure they are taking up space in every poll. Maybe it is because they are undefeated and have dominated everyone they've played. This is exactly the type of post that makes USD fans upset at people on here. Everyone is getting along and boom, a bash on USD. You wonder why we are so defensive.

Thank you to all of you that respect USD and have noted that they are a good team. We now know our schedule left us out of the playoffs, which we can't argue with. I am just excited that we still have a chance to prove our worth against UC Davis and Monmouth. If we get dominated by UC Davis, we know that the Mid-Major level still has plenty of work to do to get to a playoff level. If we win or keep it close, we will know that the difference between the top Mid-Major teams and above average scholarship teams is not that big.

I know you all think the USD fans will disappear after this year, especially if we lose one or both of our remaining games, but I really enjoy this community and hope to active on here for years to come. Thanks to all of you that have been welcoming and thoughtful about USD and thanks to Ralph for all your work on this site.

Speaking from years of experience on this board. Most of the new AGS-ers from USD who joined this year WILL fade away, but a few hard-core fans will stay and become part of the AGS community. It's a general pattern, a team does something exciting, scores of fans come out of the woodwork, then the excitement dies down and the fair weather fans depart. If you are a true Division formerly known as I-AA fan, you will be welcome here.
