Many people have wondered if the St. Louis Rams are going to become (again) the Los Angeles Rams, and there has been a lot of smoke to that potential fire.

The NFL — inadvertantly, perhaps — has tossed a little gas on this chatter.

If you type in this to your browser:

You get this:

Yes, that's a legit web page, and it legitimately says "Los Angeles Rams" with the specs and stats from the current St. Louis club, in case you thought somehow there was a dead LA page of yore still living.

And before you assume that this is just an honest or quirky mistake, think about it: Someone on the web team had to develop this page with the "LA" suffix. For instance, when I type in "AND" for my hometown of Andover, Mass., I get nada. (Actually, it reverts back to the index page for the NFL teams.)

So St Louis is screwed again? Does that mean that the Chargers stay put, or are they going to return to LA too?

And the Jaguars are staying in Jacksonville?

On a side note, can the Bills stay in Buffalo like they should instead of moving inside to Toronto?

The link now redirects to the NFL homepage.

I bet someone is getting their ass handed to them.

I think LA is going to be the Rams and Raiders. I think San Diego finds a deal to stay.

Buffalo just got new ownership last Sept that have stated they are committed to staying in Buffalo.

Jacksonville is a wildcard just waiting to be played.

For the record, I mostly quit caring about the NFL years ago. Being a Lions fan will do that.

But the LA market should have at least one team, and the Rams were there for many years. I don't see a problem with them moving back. Maybe Jacksonville can move to St. Louis?

St. Louis is a dead NFL market if/when the Rams leave.
