:bawling: And what's left of the Eagles' season goes down the crapper. Can you say "5-11"?:bang:

Philadelphia will never win a championship with him on the field.

Please expand on that.

he breaks under pressure barfing right on the field. Philadelphia would have prolly beaten New England in SB XXXIX with a QB with half the talent who could play in pressure situations

Jeff Garcia baby, lol. The iggles are really screwed now but they weren't going any where anyway. The team has serious flaws and Andy Reid is a stubburn SOB. I would not be suprised if their is not some re-evaluation of the HC positon by some in Philly. The average shelf life of a coach with one organization is not long. While the Eagles did contend and reach the Super Bowl in a watered down conference they seem to be stuck in a rut. Unless Reid is willing to bend his ways some i think the Eagles will be stuck in NFC mediocricy. I believe they need a change of philosophy one way or the other.

This season is done...In my heart I hope they prove me wrong...but my brain tells me otherwise...

His third major injury in the last five years. Not good. And they are a .500 team with him in the lineup (this season), so I wonder how much worse or better they may be with him not in the lineup. We shall see.

I would rather see AJ Feely play QB than Garcia.

Nothing else to say about this team.

Except that they'll get at least one more win against the Skins, right?? ;)

LOL

Maybe. That could be their only win!

What a terrible fall for sports!!! Delaware football was a huge disappointment, the Hen's basketball team has a long way to go to be competitive, the Eagles are toast, the Flyers might be the worst team in the NHL and the Sixers are mediocre...

I need the Phillies to start making some positive off-season moves to give me something to look forward to.

Spring training is only 3 1/2 months away!

Fully agree. If the Iggles are to have any chance in using Stallworth and Brown deep, they have to go with Feeley. Garcia doesn't have the arm to go deep. I find it hard to see them get five more wins with either. Mainly due to the way the defense is playing. A tougher D to keep them in the game would give some hope, but not from what I've seen this year.

Leno had a good line tonight about McNabb blowing out his knee by trying to carry the whole team...;)

Considering what happened in San Fran, It would be poetic justice for Jeff Garcia to come in and lead the team to the Super Bowl just one year after Terrell Owens leaves the team. It'd be even better if they beat Dallas in the NFC Championship Game.

Not very likely but it'd make for a good storyline.

That would be great, but I agree a stretch right now. I think I'd rather see Feeley get the starting shot right now. Has a better deep arm if they're going to use Stallworth and Brown long.

Great post. You clearly are a Pats fan... You managed to combine the arrogance of being from near Boston with the cockiness that comes from living in NYC. Bravo my good man. Bill Simmons couldn't have said that better.

On the bright side, his injury frees up my Sundays. The weather is nice this time of year for doing yard work.
