The Masters will now become, at 7445 yards, the 2nd longest course to ever hold a major. In 2006 you will see a 500+ yard par 4, and a 240 yard par 3, among other things.

There is no need to keep lengthening the course. If they would just cut the fairways 18-22 yards wide and grow a 4" to 6" rough, Augusta would be by far the toughest test in golf.

No, but I hope to one day. I know several who have, and anyone who can break 90 there is a great golfer.

Funny thing is, the guy my wife dated before we started dating is a member (his dad is anyway), and we were in the process of making plans to go play one day. I should have waited until after we played Augusta before I banged her.

If they are not careful they will ruin the game of golf for everybody. Golf is not growing because of the small number of professionals it is the average golfer that buys all the products. 500 yd par 4's are rediculous. :eek:
