The College has released the report of The Committee on Competitive Excellence, and Tribe fans are rejoicing. Some actions have already been taken, and relate directly to Tribe Football.
- W&M has revised its policy on admissions to allow coaches to communicate the likelihood of admission in a more timely manner.
- A tiered system has been implemented to allow each sport to not count prospective student-athletes who are sure to be admitted against assigned slots.
Other changes coming include...
- Allowing student-athletes who graduate from high school to enroll as freshmen in January.
- Increasing the number of slots for athletics, especially for out-of-state candidates.
