You gotta admire the respect Charlie Weis has brought to South Bend. Last year he led his team down to the Navy team while the Navy band played the school song, then did the same with Army today and the Army players came right back up field to join the Notre Dame players in front of the student section.

BCS

1. Ohio State
2. Michigan
3. USC
4. Florida
5. Notre Dame

If Ohio State holds the lead and USC wins tonite the new BCS should be

1. Ohio State
2. USC
3. Notre Dame
4. Michigan (I know they beat ND, but they will still fall behind them)
5. Florida (the I-AA opponent today will hurt there computer rankings)

Next week if ND beats USC and the other 3 win...

1. Ohio State
2. Notre Dame
3. Michigan
4. Florida
5. Rutgers (assuming they win this week and next)

I dont think Charlies gonna have to bitch much anymore.

Why should Notre Dame jump over Florida for beating Navy? Better yet I hope USC kicks the **** out of ND next week so I dont have to hear about them anymore this year.

because they played Army not Navy and Army is a tougher opponent then what Florida had.

Florida was at 8.50 and ND at 8.19 in the BCS rankings Florida will take a hit in the computers this week which will prolly be enough for ND to jump them.

Im not saying the rankings i put above is how it should be im saying its likely thats how it WILL be.

If Weiss (sic) beats USC, I hope Michigan, Florida, and Arkansas are ranked ahead of Notre Dame.

They will, Michigan is still #2 in the BCS in the new poll today. ND has not beat a top 25 team this year, & Michigan kicked their a$$

But as a Michigan fan, I hate to say I will be rooting for ND next Sat. With ND's schedule and struggles, even if they beat USC, they won't jump Michigan in the polls

1 Ohio State 12-0 1 2850 1.000 1 1575 1.000 1.000 1 1.000
2 Michigan 11-1 3 2600 .912 3 1428 .907 .960 2 .926

A win over Georgia Tech won't help them whatsoever since Michigan smashed them.

If Notre Dame doesn't get a shot so be it as long as they beat USC and Michigan gets the rematch. If ND beats USC and Florida or Arkansas get in over the Irish i will be po'd because neither one of those teams have set the world on fire either. Notre Dame will beat USC this year. The Sr's will find a way and USC is due to lose in the Coliseum.
