Whitlock only played the first half, and Hill is now done for the game.

Yes, think the Salukis are definitely making a statement. This SUU team has given EVERY Great West team a battle, and now they take on a Gateway team and it's VERY ugly. An absolute rout! How is it again that Great West is the #1 ranked I-AA conference? Other than NDSU, I'm think that is completely smoke and mirrors.
If SIU get maintain this high level of play going into the playoffs, the Salukis will be a tough draw for almost any team. YES!

Great West is a good conference with NDSU a potential NC contender, but this conference has the same amount of respect as SIU. Untill they do damage in the playoffs, it is hard to take them seriously.

Hansel, like I said SUU played ALL the Great West teams close. In my book 11.6 points is pretty darn competitive.
SIU finished the Gateway in fourth place. Today they absolute chewed up and spit out a SUU team that poised a threat to the Great West teams.
Personally I'd take IN St. over SUU any day.
