I'm getting shivers watching the Ohio State band here. This is going to be huge.

Michigan comes out throwing. Effortless-looking drive there for the opening TD.

Michigan needs to step up the red-zone defense here . . . has to hold Ohio State to a FG . . .

Heh. Well, so much for that happening.

It's incredible how close Michigan has kept this game. It's felt like Ohio State has been firmly in control pretty much the whole way--yet here we are with just a three-point game. Michigan might not be able to get the ball back, though.

Anyone think that game was better than the USC vs. Texas MNC game last year?

Anybody who doesn't think those are the 2 best teams in the country is crazy. I won't be heartbroken if we don't get a rematch though, the Rose Bowl is a VERY nice consolation prize. All the kudos in the world to the Buckeyes, Troy Smith is definetely the Heisman winner.

Well Michigan's close loss probably eliminates Notre Dames chances at the title game. Owell i'll still enjoy when ND stops USC's winning streak next week in the Coliseum. Notre Dame will beat USC next week, mark it down.

Troy Smith is definetely the Heisman winner.
I don't know . . . he's no Josh Johnson.
Seriously, though, now that we all know Harbaugh has seen Troy Smith play (and shred his alma mater's defense to pieces, no less), can someone please ask coach if still truly thinks the best QB in the country "period" plays for San Diego? I'd love to hear his answer.

At least I don't have to change my avatar to Montana St. for Bison 95.

The only team that is close to either of these teams is USC. But, I think Florida will get into the NC game, and it will be an absolute massacre. Michigan deserves the rematch.

I was pulling for OSU because I like Tressel but...tell ya' what...it'd have gotten awfully dicey for the Buckeyes if there hadn't been that helmet to helmet contact penalty that kept Ohio State's last TD drive alive because their defense wasn't stopping Michigan too well.
As I understand it, it was a correct call. But it sure wasn't an intentional foul...just really bad luck for the Wolverines.
I've often said that random chance...luck...plays a role in football games. I think Ohio State got pretty lucky there. I'm happy about the outcome but...man...what a tough break for Michigan on that play. We'll never know if that helmet to helmet made a difference in the outcome but it sure is possible that it did.

Good christ what a game!! I had OSU by a FG, but no way did I expect all those points.

I was on the road for the NDSU game, so I didn't hear anything but the final score. Ohio St wins the Big 2 again.

  I didn't think OSU would allow M to move the ball that well. Great game.
