I'm thinking back to high school. Our cheerleaders would have been afraid of breaking a nail, or smudging their makeup.

One of my former schoolmates posted some basketball pictures on Facebook. They included some of our cheerleaders on the court, while in the background the opposing cheerleaders were standing and glaring at them. The body language was "if looks could kill".
