Anyone watching this game. This is the sloppiest, muddiest field I have ever seen. The way football should be played!!

Yea, that is awsome. I played in a "mud bowl" in high school. The most fun I ever had on the football fied. :nod:

At least the weather conditions were better than last year's game. They delayed the start for 2+ hours because of severe weather (they moved everyone from the stands into the basketball arena). When they finally played, the driving rain and wind caused punts to travel backwards :confused: and Miami suffered three safeties in the first half. :eek:

That was such a crazy game to watch - the only thing that freaked me out was the refs. They didn't seem to have any mud on them!

Poor kicker - falling on his butt and missing the kick

Just before halftime there was a closeup shot of a referee who was covered in mud -- shoulders to ankles. The announcers were joking about the fact that when they came back out after halftime the refs would be in clean, dry pants and shirts.

Good old-fashioned football! I turned the volume down because I got tired of Lou Holtz & Co. slobbering on and on about Michigan and Ohio State. Nevermind there was a game going on right in front of them!:nonono2:
