Congratulations to Ohio State on their national title. Congrats as well to the FBS for finally getting wise to a playoffs system. Still, something needs to be done about the length of these games. It's well past midnight back east so how many of us stuck around long enough to see who won? I'm not sure if Walter Camp gets cred for coming up with a 60 minute clock but cutting it in half works for me. Actually, cutting it to about 29 minutes works even better. Who needs all that halftime jazz anyways?

Then again, would Ohio State still be champs if we only played a 29 minute game?

After 29 minutes Ohio State was losing to Navy. And after 29 minutes Navy was losing to Army. And after 29 minutes Army was losing to Fordham. So yeah, if you're into post-midnight football I guess Ohio State is the best team in the land. But if something a little more abbreviated works for you, then let me also congratulate the Fordham Rams as the champs of 29 Minute Football! xdrunkyx

The first quarter was absurdly long but I felt the second half moved along nicely. I enjoy the college games length. I makes it easier to justify 8+ hour roundtrips on Saturdays....

I have a 200 mile 3.5-4 hour limit for a bball day trip and 300-400 mile 6-7 hour drive for a football. Dalton, PA to Kent, OH, 356 miles, is my best one day football run so far....

The next mother****er that starts an FBS thread in the FCS Discussion area is gonna rue the day they submitted it. Guess it's over now anyway but I guarantee I've extended my patience as far as I'm willing to.

The Boogie Down tomorrow you will have a taste of some fun I like to have with posters sometimes. Get ready, it's gonna be fun!

Alpha I already know what you are gonna do so just do it and have it over with.

Well it's basically the same ol' samo with transitive analysis to get a D3 national champion that we see every year so I'm not sure it's worthy of props.

I could give you some props that have no feeling behind em' if you need then?
