Hey underdawg, great thread. I opened up a new forum a while back at the request of members for this sort of thing so I'm going to move it over to that forum. I will leave a redirect in this forum for a week or so on this though.

I think this place has great potential with all you guys to be a very good resource for recruiting information so I'm really trying to push that forum and get things moving forward on that one. No problem with where you put it as this used to be where it all went.xthumbsupx

UNI picked up a transfer RB - Savon Huggins from Rutgers. Former 5* recruit

Article from when he announced his transfer

http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/12/30/savon-huggins-former-four-star-rb-recruit-leaving-rutgers/
Savon Huggins (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/cfb/130764/savon-huggins) was never able to live up to his recruiting hype at Rutgers. Now, the running back will look to finish up his collegiate career elsewhere.
Monday, Huggins confirmed via both Twitter and standard media that he has decided to transfer out of the RU football program. In explaining his decision, Huggins basically said it was time for a reboot.
“Basically, I just wanted a new start (http://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/index.ssf/2014/12/savon_huggins_on_transferring_from_rutgers_i_think _it_was_time_for_me_to_just_move_on.html), something different,” Huggins told nj.com. “I think it was time for me to just move on. The decision didn’t really come down to playing time or any of that, ultimately, because this was in my mind for a little while.”
Because Huggins will be a graduate transfer, he would be eligible to play immediately at the FBS level in 2015. As for his new school? Those plans should be announced before the midpoint of January.
“I have some things lined up,” Huggins said. “We’ll see what will happen in the next couple of weeks.”
Huggins was a four-star member of RU’s 2011 recruiting class, rated as the No. 7 running back in the country and the No. 1 player at any position in the state of New Jersey. Other recruiting services, such as Scout.com, had Huggins as a five-star prospect.
Thanks in part to injuries, Huggins will finish his Scarlet Knights career with 842 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 261 carries. His best season came in 2012 as he rushed for 410 yards as a sophomore.
An injury forced him to take a redshirt this season.

Was set to be a senior this year but missed due to a shoulder injury that allowed him to medial redshirt and being a graduate he has another year

http://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/index.ssf/2014/10/rutgers_rb_savon_huggins_to_miss_the_entire_2014_s eason.html
"We've been monitoring Savon Huggins' progress and he's not going to return this year,'' Flood said. "He'll be a medical redshirt for this season.''
Flood added that he expects Huggins to "be back here next year.''
The news that Huggins won't play this season is not unexpected as Flood conceded the possibility during the summer that the senior running back wouldn't be healthy (http://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/index.ssf/2014/07/big_ten_media_day_injured_rutgers_rb_savon_huggins _could_redshirt_this_season.html)enough to contribute this fall.

This means the UNI backfield is now made up of
Savon Huggins - 5* transfer from Rutgers (top 10 RB in high school nationally)
Darrian Miller - 4* transfer from Kansas (top 20 RB recruit in high school)
Barkley Hill - 3* transfer from Iowa (top rated player in Iowa in HS)

Long story short...I'd put money on our ground game being garbage

A five-star prospect from Jackson, Huggins was the No. 1 recruit in New Jersey in the class of 2011. The running back decided to stay home to attend Rutgers (http://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/), but his career didn't live up to sky-high expectations.

Huggins totaled 842 yards rushing and nine touchdowns on 261 attempts in the first three years of his career. He redshirted last season due to a torn rotator cuff and a wrist injury (http://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/index.ssf/2014/10/rutgers_rb_savon_huggins_to_miss_the_entire_2014_s eason.html).

Huggins earned his degree in economics in December and decided to transfer for his final season of eligibility.
