The Redbirds gave the Eagles a taste of their own medicine. With an offense that scored the first nine times they had the ball and continually extended drives with conversions on third and fourth down, Illinois State advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision Playoffs with a 59-46 victory over Eastern Washington Saturday (Dec. 13) at Roos Field in Cheney, Wash.
