Terry and Bercegeay Pick Up National Honors
The Sports Network picks duo as national players of the week.

Philadelphia, Pa. - Sam Houston State running back D.D. Terry, McNeese State placekicker Blake Bercegay, Princeton quarterback Jeff Terrell and Portland State linebacker Adam Hayward have been honored as I-AA players of the week by The Sports Network, the division's most widely recognized sports information service.
Terrell threw for 445 yards and threw for three touchdowns, including the gamewinner in the fourth quarter, to lift Princeton past Yale, 34-31. Terry kept Sam Houston State in a tie for the Southland Conference lead with 278 yards rushing and three touchdowns in a 28-23 win at Southeastern Louisiana. Hayward notched 10 tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble to lift Portland State past Sacramento State, 13-7. Bercegay nailed all five of his field goal attempts, including the gamewinning kick in overtime, to keep McNeese State on top of the Southland Conference with a 29-26 win at Northwestern State.
