Completely out of line. This is a playoff game, and it is still possible they could win, albeit statistically unlikely. Stopping the game until the family and the patient are being transported to the hospital is sufficient.

Why is everyone so impressed with ISU's output against EWU?

EWU gave up 50+ points 4 times this year, including 53 to Idaho State. That's 4 times in 14 games. Considering that EWU played a boat load of crappy teams in those 14 games, it is not surprising that a good team would lay 50 on them.

Seriously, with all of the other 6 final 8 teams scoring over 30 points over arguably way better defenses than EWU, why would anyone expect that EWU would have held any of them under 50? xeyebrowx

cover activity during performance of regular or assigned job duties
provide protection from liability in a federal civil rights lawsuit
provide protection for volunteer athletic events

I know but a bounce here or there gets you through. Everybody in the playoffs has a chance. Montana barely lost that game at Western Illinois so they had a puncher's chance.

CSU Pueblo is playing for the DII National Championship. NDSU lost to St. Cloud State in 2003. Comparatively, CSU-P might be better than NDSU was then.

Also, the defensive beasts from the MVC just gave up more points and more yards than any other game they played this year. But sure, the best team in the Big Sky was dominated in this game, so flame away about the big fluffy. I guess NDSU also thinks UM had the worst defense they saw this year? We couldn't even beat EWU in two tries (or three or four, or...) Maybe EWU has a pretty good offense, though, y'think?:)

No argument here. I didn't say folks were denying that EWU has a good offense. Just saying no one is going to look at the ISU defense yesterday and say, wow, those guys are going all the way based on that. They are my pick to go all the way, though, based on GREAT offense.xbowx

Defense was a liability this year. In addition to the several key players lost from last year, we had multiple potential starters lost prior to or very early on in the season. We had 7 true or RS Freshman playing just on the defensive line this year and two RS Freshman playing at CB. Relative to how young our defense was, we over-achieved this year.
