It was a tribute to Vernon Adams Jr. as much as it was an honor. The Eastern Washington University junior quarterback received the ultimate compliment by the Big Sky Conference head coaches when he was selected to repeat as the Big Sky Conference Offensive Player of the Year announced Tuesday (Nov. 25) by the league office.
