Because, as he proved voting for UNH all season #1, he has a boner for anybody not NDSU.

I do not think there will be an all CAA championship.

It could happen, I'd even say somewhat decent chance, but definitely think there is a greater chance of no CAA final than all CAA

While an all CAA final would allow / cause some chest thumping by CAA backers, I want another shot at NDSU. But first things first - we've got to get through our bracket to make that happen.

Which conference has the best chance of making this happen? I personally don't think any conference will.

Too lazy to look, how many conferences is it even possible for?

I think it is possible for the CAA, MVFC, Big Sky, Southland, and OVC.

MVFC with UNI and ISUr on the opposite side of the bracket from you guys. But they'll have to make it out of Cheney or Missoula first.

Only we would have to go through Missoula. ISUr would get them in Normal.

Whomever comes out of the EWU , Illinois St, UNI, Montana part of the bracket will be in Frisco IMO. I think Ndsu plays a CAA team in the semis.

Ill. State would have to go to Cheney if EWU beats UM or USD.

Too bad the Big South doesn't have this option. The committee screwed us by placing us on the same side of the bracket after we beat up each other all year.

Yeah I know that, but he said Cheney or Missoula like either team would have to go to either place. In reality only we would have to go to either one. Illinois State would only have to go to Cheney unless they refused to bid...

doubt it happens. it's not totally insane, i'd be surprised. this is one of those predictions that can cause some chest thumping if correct, but people will just forget about it (so, nothing to lose) if incorrect.

I don't see any CAA team being able to go into Fargo and win, so I don't see this happening. Besides, UNH will have to go farther than they've ever gone in the playoffs to date to make this happen and I don't see them making that kind of history this year.

JMU can. They are peaking at the right time.

While possible, I think a CAA final is unlikely. NDSU has to have better than even odds of getting back there, and while UNH playing at home is the most probable team from the other half of the bracket, their odds are less than even against the entire field. If NDSU failed to make it, one of the 3 CAA team on their side of the bracket are likely to be there. Likewise,
if it's not UNH, it is even odds to be EWU, or one of the MVFC teams. So either a CAA or MVFC have a reasonable, but not ilkely chance of having two team in.
BIG South? Liberty wins 0 games, CCU one in the playoff. The whole conference could be in the tourny and no one would make the Semi's unless they played each other every round.

Substitute "Boone" for Fargo and I'm positive that exact same sentence was uttered on this board in 2008.

You never know. I've watched Richmond twice this year and the Bison are a tough match up for them IMO.

It's not just the Spiders, but JMU and Villanova.

Illinois State bid on every round, so the Griz would be traveling to us.

Yep...both (JMU and Villanova) are good teams but I'm saying the potentially first CAA team the Bison could meet up with if they win their 2nd round game will be Richmond. Richmond is talented but NDSU would be a bad match up for them.
