A spectacular way to open the brand-new John Paul Jones Arena. UVA came back from a 13-point halftime deficit to win the game 93-90. The pregame activities were incredible and they hired Michael Buffer of "let's get ready to rumble" fame to introduce the UVA team.

Were you there by any chance? Because I was in the second row behind the basket and I was blown away. The game wasn't too bad either:D :D :D .

I was not, but I hope to get down this year.

I'm glad they lost. 6 years ago, a buddy of mine had tickets to a UA-Cal basketball game. For fun, I decided to root for Cal. Almost every single Arizona fan was a complete and utter a$$hole to me simply for cheering for Cal. I wasn't giving them ***** at all. For basektball, I'm a Sun Devils fan.

To this day, I'm the guy laughing hardest at a Tucson sports bar every March when the Cats colapse in the Tourney.

I was at JPJ Arena for a Dave Matthews Band concert on Sept 25. Loved the arena it's top-notch. C-ville is one of the best towns in America and the UVA campus is beautiful. I'm now a quasi-UVA fan.
