Mountain Hawks coming off an impressive victory over, then, #10 Pitt face the Columbia Lions who have revamped their program and finished in the top half of the EIWA 16 tournament last year qualifying three for the NCAA's. NYAC's gym has capacity of only 500, which has been sold out for days with all the Lehigh people in town for the big football game Saturday.

Was a great match with 600 people in SRO conditions around the mat. Lehigh took 9 out of 10 bouts winnng 34-3, with two falls and a major. Even the lone loss was tight. Columbia's program has improved over the years, finishing 5th or 6th last year in the EIWA with three NCAA qualifiers. I expected a 'W' but not of this magnitude. The kids were focused and fired up. Next two bouts on the road November 29 & 30 at Illinois and Northwestern before returning home to face Penn and Rider on 12/6 & 12/7 at Grace Hall with both being 2 p.m. starts.
