-Lehigh spanks Fordham to set up meeting 142 with Lafayette for all the marbles
-My HS alma-mater advances in the PA state playoffs and plays my fathers HS alma-mater
-Notre Dame is back in thick of the National Title race

-Temple gets whipped by Paternoless Penn State, still doesn't get the hint ;)
Seriously though... my HS sucks in football (rural area, crappy athletes) but it's been a good weekend here too. Obviously the Penguins locking up the GFC Auto bid and probably a seed, Cavs stealing a comeback over the Celtics, tOSU/UM both winning and setting up a sure classic for next week, and just scored a ticket to the Browns/Steelers game the day after. :beerchug:

Temple doesn't even phase me at this point. Ask me where they are in 2008. They start 17 fr. and atleast won a game this year. Notre Dame was the biggest winner today with all the 1 loss teams losing. Lehigh can 1 up them next week, atleast until ND-USC.

Cal lost to Arizona because EVERY lucky break went UofA's way. I'm not kidding.
In the 4th Qtr., right after UofA took a 24-17 lead with an INT return for a TD, Cal drove right down field. They had a long completion down the middle of the field that should have been a TD, but inexplicably, the receiver fell down at the 1 yard line. 'Zona's defense kept them out of the endzone, Cal kicked a FG, and that was the final score of the game, 24-20.
Later, Cal scored what appeared to be the go-ahead TD with 2:20 left. After review by the officials (Arizona was out of timeouts, and unable to challenge), it was ruled the reciever stepped out of bounds at the Arizona 41 yard line. A few plays later, Arizona got a game clinching INT.

Not to mention the awful PI call on Dameion Hughes in the endzone on his interception. That's 7 more points for Az. Awful game, everything had to go wrong for Cal to lose, and it did. They certainly had their shots though - great teams don't lose those games

Why can't we have people campaigning for you guys to make the playoffs and not San Diego? These "grace period" rules are so stupid...
Actually, I don't know if there are alot of folks who would want to face you anyway. :)
