They didn't just beat Florida State, they demolished them. Shut them out, held them to 100 yards of offense.

Well, Florida St. isn't what it used to be.

Florida State is a bad football team right now. Would love to see Wake in a BSC bowl but they have a tough couple games left before they would play G-Tech in the ACC title game.

Give WF some props...beating FSU is not an easy achievement, ever. Beating them the way WF did...that says more about the current status of WF than it does about FSU.
Who woulda ever thought though that the ACC championship game could be Wake Forest and Maryland?? Not Florida State, Virginia Tech, Boston College or Clemson...

Nice win, nice season for WF.
On a side note, I can't believe U of Maryland, 8-2! Where did they come from?

It's great to see a small private school doing so well this season. And it was great to see them put the wood to Boston College last weekend and Free Shoes U this weekend.
I had a chance to see WF play in person this season, and I think Riley Skinner has a chance to be serious player in the ACC in the coming years. Jim Grobe is probably one of the best X's and O's guys that there is.

I have tickets to the Va.Tech/Wake game this coming weekend. Quite excited about it. I'm taking my dad who is a Wake alum. It should be fun. How crazy would it be for Wake to take on Ga. Tech in the ACC Championship game? If that is the case, I may have to make the drive down to Jacksonville on Dec. 2nd.

Robert Earl Keen will be at Ziggy's (next door to the stadium) that night, after the game. I had the chance to go to that game but I passed it up at the beginning of the year because it is Wake and they are normally not good. I have watched a few of their games and they look solid all around. Basketball on the other hand, is a different story. They will stink!

They actually are in the same division and they meet in two weeks to possibly determine who goes to face GT (they're already in) but both have tough games this week (Wake at VT and Maryland at BC).

Va. Tech is at Wake. You are right about the Terps at BC though.

I remember taking a bus-load of church kids to NC Baptist day at the Wake-FSU game, Chris Weinke's senior year. FSU looked superior in every way back in those days.
Amazing how things have changed. Congrats to the Deacs.
