SPARTANBURG, S.C. –*Samford senior punter Greg Peranich and junior linebacker Justin Cooper were both honored by the Southern Conference when the league released its weekly football honors Monday morning. Peranich was named the league's Special Teams Player of the Week, while Cooper was named the Defensive Player of the Week for the second-straight week.
