EKU upsets #8 UTM with FG at 0:01

The Colonels block a punt and set up the game winner to stay a perfect 18-0 all-time against the Skyhawks. EKU almost killed themselves with some costly turnovers, and lost RB Mark Dunn after he got 29 yards on his first four carries. NC State transfer Bobby Washington stepped up BIG TIME in his absence.

EKU now needs a win over Tennessee State on senior day for our 34th CONSECUTIVE NON-LOSING SEASON (best streak among I-AA programs...second overall to Michigan).

UTM coaches cost the Skyhawks the chance at victory today. Our punting has been terrible all year and the coaches decide to punt the ball when it is 4 and less than a yard at midfield. They should of went for it, no one can hold our line back on a play like that. Hope the coaches feel good knowing they may have just cost the team a chance at the playoffs. As Herm Edwards says, "You play to win the game."
