Jacksonville State moved up to No. 3 in both major FCS polls on Monday and is now receiving first-place votes in both. The Gamecocks are the No. 2 ranked FCS team in the latest Sagarin Power Rankings. The Gamecocks can win the OVC Championship outright with a win over Eastern Illinois on Saturday; a win by EIU and the Panthers would win the OVC's playoff berth if they also win at UT Martin the final week of the season.
