Just 4 days prior to the anniversary of the crash that killed 75 members of the Marshall football team, a plane set to carry about 200 members of the 2006 Marshall team to their game at East Carolina was evacuated after smoke was reported in an engine.
Marshall sports information director Randy Burnside said "It's just a mechanical problem. It was a minor thing."
