Now that Rutgers beat Louisville I just watched SportsCenter debating over which 1 loss team will get "selected" to play for the national championship...
I wonder if there is a better way?

I'm going to be rooting hard for Ohio St. and Michigan to loose so that they choose two teams with losses over two teams that are undefeated. (Assuming Rutgers and Boise can finish it up)

I was thinking about that all during the game. It's pretty sad that Louisville now has nothing to play for but a bowl game even though they lost to what looks like a really good team. The beauty of I-AA is that one loss is not the end of the world!
The only thing that really ticks me off is people saying that the Ohio State-Michigan game is like a playoff. No it's not!! If they would try the playoffs for just one year, they'd know the difference.

I-A picking the "best two teams in the country" for the NC is like declaring a National Champion for High School football. Its complete bull****, there will always be a huge arguments about the topic, and its completely meaningless!!:rotateh:

It's all a popularity contest, really. That is why they would've taken an undefeated WVU into the title game, but not Louisville or Rutgers, even though those teams would've had to beat WVU to go undefeated.
It's totally illogical.
