Saint Francis stunned No. 22 Sacred Heart for what was arguably the most-significant victory in the program’s FCS history. Two of the men who helped make it happen earned NEC football weekly awards. NEC Offensive Player of the Week Anthony Abeid was responsible for Saint Francis’ first three touchdowns in the 30-27 road win. Staking the Red Flash to a 20-10 lead, the 5-foot-8 Abeid threw a touchdown pass and caught two more. *He finished with 86 yards on three receptions, 33 passing yards and seven rushing yards.
