Last week was full of blowouts. Thank you loyal guys for penciling in the final scores on my behalf. I may still create Ivy threads next season but I have been less involved regarding Ivy football for a few years now.

This week may be another blowout week.

Yale at Columbia
Princeton at Cornell
Brown at Penn
Harvard at Dartmouth - can the winner win the Ivy title at the end of the year? Shootout or tight game?

Penn-Brown is a coin flip, in my view. With Hempel back, I like Harvard over Dartmouth by a TD. I agree with bulldog's picks.

Come on and vote, Dartmouth people. You haven't beaten us in Hanover since Bill Clinton's first year in office.

I was a lone voice predicting a Dartmouth victory over Yale here three weeks ago, so....

It should be miserable weather in Hanover on Saturday. Ask Princeton what happens when a first-place team comes to Memorial Field in such conditions. They have some recent experience to share with you in that respect.

I don't think weather will decide the game, it will be a great game no matter what, but assuming your point is that bad weather will prevent a high scoring passing game, the stats don't support your contention that it's an advantage for Dartmouth.

Harvard rushes for 208 yds/game, Dartmouth yields 145

Dartmouth rushes for 159 yds/ game, Harvard yields 78

I'll take the #3 rushing defense in the country if it's raining.

Again, watch the Dartmouth-Princeton 2013 tape. Princeton's offense was supposed to be unstoppable last year. And then they ran into bad weather and the Dartmouth defense.

If anyone saw the Yale-Penn game on Saturday, a Yale player, Spencer Rymiszewski, was taken off the field on a stretcher. A scary moment, actually about 15 minutes, as the medical personnel were being very careful since he wasn't moving. He's out for the year, but appears to be fine.

Yale sophomore CB Spencer Rymiszewski (http://www.yalebulldogs.com/sports/m-footbl/2014-15/bios/rymiszewski_spencer_9oqw) was injured in the first half against Penn and taken off the field on a stretcher. Today he released the following statement: "During Satuday's game against Penn, I suffered a spinal cord concussion that will have me sidelined for the rest of the season. I anticipate making a full recovery and getting back on the football field with my brothers. I am grateful to the Yale medical staff and the entire Yale football community---to include the administrative staff, my coaches, my teammates, and all of the parents---for their care, kindness, love, and support over the last days."

Yale will win, although by how much depends if they do what Dartmouth did and rest the starters this week.

Princeton will win. Cornell just isn't very good.

Brown will win. Penn just isn't very good.

Dartmouth will win. Unlike last year, Dartmouth is at full strength on offense. And we will win even though the Saturday weather report doesn't look as dire now as it did earlier this week.

Yale at Columbia - Nottingham, the Standford QB transfer, isn't even on the lion's roster anymore. Columbia might be one of the most moribund programs in the FCS
Princeton at Cornell - The Crimson may have ground the Tigers into a fine paste last weekend, but Cornell may even be bad enough to lose to Columbia. Also, is Quinn Epperly still injured?
Brown at Penn - Brown is a team that's not used to losing. Penn, for god's sake sort yourselves out.
Harvard at Dartmouth - Harvard's Conner Hempel threw for 25/31 against the Tigers, totaling a face-melting 382 yards. Harvard all the way.

Jake has been a lot more bullish on Dartmouth than most folks in recent years. Some people still equate Dartmouth with 2000s futility, but Jake has consistently (and correctly) picked Dartmouth higher than the media preseason polls in this decade.

As I said before, I don't mind people picking Harvard to win. I think we're the best team in the league, but until we actually go out and prove it, I don't expect Dartmouth to get the props from the masses.

To that point in the 4th quarter, he had rushed 15 times for 38 yds, and passed 16-26 for 210 yds. and if the Harvard QB did not get hurt in the 2nd quarter after leading them to 3 TDs in the first 25 minutes, it would not have mattered.

How about acknowledging that Harvard's defense was too good in this game?
