Senior running back Kevin Monangai (Roseland, N.J.) and junior quarterback John Robertson (Paramus, N.J.) each ran for two touchdowns and No. 5 Villanova (7-1) pulled away in the third quarter for a 48-28 victory over Morgan State (4-4) at Villanova Stadium on Saturday afternoon. In front of an announced Homecoming Weekend crowd of 7,821, the Wildcats scored 27 unanswered points coming out of halftime and went on to their seventh consecutive win. Monangai and Robertson combined to run for 269 yards and four touchdowns, with each moving up a spot on the school's career rushing list.
