With 44 catches for 700 yards and seven touchdowns, Saints wide receiver Marques Colston has the inside track on the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award. Colston, the 252nd pick in the draft, would become the lowest-drafted player to receive the honor. Who currently holds that distinction?

In 1975 Redskins running back Mike Thomas was AP's top offensive rookie. Thomas, a UNLV product and the 108th pick, ran for 919 yards and four TDs and caught 40 passes for 483 yards and three scores.

Seems like Andersen at 6th round 23rd would have been lower:confused:
