Strangely (or sadly), Houston Baptist is one of the potential live college football viewing options I've identified when I visit my brother in Houston during the fall (though admittedly I don't have strong interest in attending a Division I-AA game unless it involves one of the teams I follow).

I actually am visiting my brother next week (first weekend in November), primarily to attend the Eagles/Texans NFL game. We might attend Louisiana-Monroe/Texas A&M though he's leaning against it right now. It is very unlikely we'll attend Stephen F. Austin/Sam Houston State (being held at NRG Stadium, the Texans' home stadium) and we definitely won't attend Grambling State/Texas Southern because of a scheduling conflict (Celtics/Rockets NBA game). Houston and Rice, and for that matter Houston Baptist, are all on the road.

Not really an upset when NSU has the worst defense in the division. And it's 2 Ls because the school is named for Col. Francis T. Nicholls.


Was glad to be able to watch the game on ESPN3 but it was painful.
