With wins over No. 8 LSU 34-29 (Sept. 20) at Death Valley,* No. 6 Texas A&M 48-31 (Oct. 4) and No. 2 Auburn 38-23 last Saturday, the 6-0 Mississippi St. Bulldogs and sixth-year head coach Dan Mullen, have skyrocketed into the public consciousness of college football fans across the nation and climbed to No. 1 in this week's AP Top 25 Poll for the first time in school history.
