Following six weeks of non-conference competition, the Northeast Conference season finally arrived on the gridiron. Sacred Heart and Wagner opened their league schedules by posting home victories while Duquesne won on the road. Bryant was the lone NEC team to have a Week 7 bye. The Bulldogs kick off their conference slate at Saint Francis on October 18.
