That's shocking. Even with the weather, I would have guessed at least 15K at that game.

I was one of 1,904 at Brown Stadium today.

Not a great day weather-wise...but it's shocking how bad FCS attendance in the Northeast is getting week to week.

I sat through the '81 Harvard-Yale game in NH. Rained like stink, and we got clocked. 75,000 people showed.

Today's fans are PUSSIES!

There were about 10,000 people in Hanover for the 1990 Dartmouth-Yale game (considered the de facto Ivy championship game at the time of the game). Big crowd for those days at Memorial Field. And yeah- heavy rain the whole game.

Today, most of those people would have stayed home... :(

I found this amazing considering the stadium holds 6,500 and the bleacher sideline from TV looked half full at best during the entire game.

There is no way 18774 made it into the game. UNH oversells and fills their tailgate, then everyone stays there and continues to drink rather then watch the game(there isn't seating anyway). Still a good sign that over 18k bought tickets, the interest is there!

Tickets are scanned entering the Boulder Field Tailgate area. A game ticket is required for entry into the alcohol allowed Boulder Field. Walk-ins to this area have tickets scanned as well. And students have to pick up a physical ticket (free) for the games so those too are scanned upon entry.

Students started bailing at halftime and it was like an exodus after the last UNH TD. I guess everyone had Homecoming parties to attend. :D More UNH fans stand rather than sit in the small bleachers behind the visitor's bench. The home side was just about full, the student section was overflowing and there were plenty of people in the usual standing areas up top on the home side, the knoll in front of the tennis courts and around the fences. Not as many people viewing the game as Lehigh or Dartmouth games but still IMHO over 9K. Personally, I'm glad they enforce the ticket rule and get revenue from the people who only come to party. In their defense, I too could very easily have stayed out tailgating because there are so many people to visit and catch up with. After all it's part of what Homecoming is about.

I think people are waiting for a competitive home game at the end...games have been determined well before the 4Q. Not sure we get one of those until the playoffs this year.

Our homecoming seemed pretty spotty from my side of the field looking across. There is a block of tickets about 3/4 of the way up on the 35-45 that represents about 50 seats that are never filled this season, its about 7 rows up and down and 7-8 seats across in each row, its a giant square of 50 or 60 empty seats at each game all game long. They must be owned by a lazy company. I'm sure the ticket sales are still capped at 100% though, just not AIS.

RE: Sitting Bull's wonderment at the UNH-W&M announced attendance: They scan all of the people with tickets including the thousands that never wonder into the Stadium. Same thing happened last homecoming. We guess about 8500 to 9000 actually were in the stadium watching the game.

there are now a few of us and not just a couple!!!

Wish more JMU fans were on here so we can take off our rose colored glasses and be the class of FCS (not just worried about moving up and firing Bourne...)

Need the Charlotte win in 2 weeks to get the crowds excited and coming out the rest of the season for sure.
