I didn't realize that Mangino was the pride of Youngstown. Did they find a big enough block of granite for his statue?

A coach should be in shape.
Thats why Joe Paterno gets recruits still, they admire an 80 year old man who takes an unfortunate hit to the knee and refuses medical treatment for quite an amazing amount of time.

Happens to a lot of guys after their playing days after being brain washed for years to cram down the food to put on weight and then seeing their activity level cut drastically after their playing days are over.
Hell some even look like that nowadays while playing the line for various schools. One on just about every team.

Ralph was at The Citadel when I played. I have watched him go to Ga. Tech, San Diego Chargers, Detroit Lions, and back to Maryland.
And I have seen him get BIGGER, BIGGER, and BIGGER.

I watched that game, and you're right. The coaches looked like they were separated at girth, I mean birth.

prior to the 2002 season i believe though it may have been the 2003 season Charlie Weis nearly died after having Gastric Bypass Surgery. I dont think its fair for people to pick on people because of their weight, some people are just like that and no matter how much they try cant change it.
