Portland State @ North Dakota
Sac State @ Northern Colorado
Cal Poly @ Weber State
Eastern Washington @ Southern Utah - will VA's injury be the X-factor to SUU if the T-Birds win? Or will West step up and reverse the "curse" for the Red and Black?
Simon Fraser @ Idaho State - ah yes, Canada! First time an FCS ever plays a Canadian football school in any type of game?
Montana State @ UC Davis

Portland State 12 @ 17 North Dakota UND's defense gets a W this week.

Sac State 32 @ 35 Northern Colorado Sac state's lack of D does not bode well for them on the road. Da Bears are coming off a big home win over NAU.

Cal Poly 24 @ 27 Weber State BBQ has all L's, but they have been close except for their big FBS game. Being in Odgen, will Mustangs be on the BBQ? CP has struggled on the road this year.

Eastern Washington 35 @ 25 Southern Utah Even with VA being out, I don't see SuUtah being able to overcome EWU's offense.

Simon Fraser 0 @ Idaho State 45 Much improved ISU gets an easy Div 2 school. The Bengals will be able to play 2's and 3's in the 2nd half.

Montana State 43 @ 38 UC Davis The Bobcat's are in California again. And last time at You See Davis it was high scoring. Just like last time MSU was in California. Where's the D?

I am pretty sure MSU has played Simon Fraser in Basketball.

We played Simon Fraser a couple of times in football back in the 80's, I believe.

Simon Fraser has been playing American football for a long time. Back in the late 70's/early 80's they would show up on almost everyone's non-conference schedule in the Big Sky. They are a member of DII's GNAC conference (with the likes of Central Washington and Western Oregon). They are the Clan (with a "C").

North Dakota beats Portland St., though in the process probably amassing more Personal Fouls than points in their win.
Sacramento St outscores No. Colorado, though is held to fewer points than they put up against MT State.
Cal Poly rolls over Weber State with ease. By 4th qt only one in the stands are missionaries looking to convert CA visitors.
E. Washington still racks up a double digit win over So. Utah even without "Lil Shoota" at the helm.
Idaho State pummels Simon Frazier giving their QB the national player of the week award after a 10 TD passing day.
Montana St beats UC Davis. The only question is if Davis doubles their points per game average in the loss.
Even on a bye week Univ. of Montana offense and coaching takes another beating at the hands of eGriz.

UND had two personal fouls in the first 5 games. That reffing crew had a horrible day and was completely against any contact if the ball was not caught. The late hit by Ratelle was legit, the other two on the receivers were not. UND had three total. Griz had one.

Montana St. 38-17 Davis — If EWU could hold the Aggies under 20, the Bobcats should too

EWU 38-27 Suutah — Who would've thought SUU would be last in the league in total defense?

Cal Poly 35-24 Weber — The 'Stangs look solid against weak teams, at least

Sac State 31-27 NoCo — The Bears can stymie Sac's passing attack, but Safron's running is a different matter

Portland St. 17-21 NoDak — I don't think the Viks will suddenly get in sync two time zones over

Beady-Eyed Canadians 17-56 Idaho St. — The Bengals haven't played an FCS non-conf. game since 2008 xeyebrowx

The No-Nicks showed some talent in this department against the Griz, but they're up against the masters this week. xsmiley_wix

47-10 for the season so far. Another attempt at perfection.

CP at WSU---The Wildcats have had two weeks to prepare for this game. The Mustangs were at home last weekend, taking care of Southern Utah. Can the Mustangs close the door on the road?...CP 34, WSU 28.

EWU at SUU---The Eagles are in a precarious situation, without their quarterback who gallantly led them to victory at home last weekend against Idaho State, heading on the road to play the last team that beat them in conference. The Thunderbirds fell at Cal Poly last weekend, closing the door on the playoffs. Sometimes playing for pride can be the best. But then again...EWU 45, SUU 35.

Simon Fraser at ISU---Have the Bengals turned over a new leaf this season? Things have been looking pretty good for them so far, now they bring in the DII team from Canada. Hope their run so far does not get ruined...ISU 42, Simon Fraser 7.

MSU at UCD---The Bobcats were feeling pretty good about themselves last weekend that they almost lost it at Sacramento State. They now return to the area and play the Aggies who succumbed on the road at Portland State last weekend. The Aggies defense may have shown some life last week, but these are the Bobcats...MSU 28, UCD 20.

PSU at UND---The Vikings are possibly better than they've shown, but they better start showing it soon. They were unable to pull away from UC-Davis last week and now they run into a strong defense in North Dakota. The former Sioux have played both Montana State and Montana close. Playing an easier opponent, maybe a chance for a letdown...PSU 28, UND 14.

SAC at UNC---The Hornets have seem to be playing to the level of their opponents, almost getting the win at home last week against Montana State. The Bears are hoping for some of their magic from last week against Northern Arizona to carry over to this game. However, lightning rarely strikes twice in the same spot...SAC 38, UNC 20.

IIRC, they may have been a member of the old Evergreen Conference with the likes of EWU, WWU, CWU, Willamette (dammit), UPS, and PLU.
